This has been mentioned on the PistonFest forum but I feel may be lost, so just to bring it to more peoples attention I am posting it here.

Myself and Fish are going. Last time I went I really enjoyed it, so those of you NOT going to Goodwood here is a date for your diary. Put your car to the test and see just what time you can do a 1/4 mile in

I assume you can buy tickets on the day and a helmet will be needed to have a bally good thrust down the grey stuff?

I might be tempted if I can dig out the lid.

You can buy your tickets on the door and you only need your 'lid' if you are in a convertible

Can't do this Sunday (for the poorest of reasons, going to 'Diggerland' for childs b'day party ) but am definitely up for another Santa Pod RWYB.

If you are regulars then please make a post next time you go - want to see what my R500 will do with me driving, as opposed to the experts......

What sort of P/W ratio would I be looking at to top 100 in 1/4 mile?

Very unlikely you'll top the ton - low nineties maybe.

1994 NSX 13.8 @ 101 mph

I have seen a later one go 103 but 120 is way off unless it has 500hp.

There were two blue Nobles running together all day which made a pretty sight, they were both running mid to high twelves, one at 112 mph, the other at 108 mph.

No TVRs running but a couple in the car park (Tuscan & Chimera) Other than that plenty of Skylines and Saxos!!!.

One of the nobles was piloted by a friend from work.

They've got some mpeg videos of it etc. but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the web site they've been put up on. www.Desperada.com or something like that.

My friends was 3l the other was the 2.5l. Could definitely see the difference in power. The 2.5 tended to get better starts, but lose anyway.

If I remember I'll dig up the web site when I get back from holiday on Tuesday week. Probably forget though unless someone PMs me to remind me.
