Was a good turnout, can't believe all the cars there

BadApple took about 50 high-res pictures, may take a while to sort through but they'll definately be worth it - watch this space

Just got back ourselves.

Very tired, sun-burned, tired, exhausted, tired (did I mentioned that?) but happy.

Just downloading my 150-odd virus-ridden spam emails as I type. Ah, the joys of going away for a weekend.

Just got back. What a great day. Some superb cars to see from all the various exotic marques. Great weather. Drag racing was entertaining. Good to meet some of the usual suspects again and say hello to a few new one's. Oh… and the weather wasn't too bad. Thanks to Ted and all those who helped make it such a success. See you at the next one.

Not long back from Pistonfest. Cracking weekend, the weather was perfect and the beer cold.

I would like to say hello to everyone I met: Mr & Mrs Bugmeister (sorry about the snoring!)

A special mention for Gemini. Thanks for waiting for us at Wooley Edge services . As a special treat for the ladies here is the the man in all his sun tanned glory!!!!

The camping was good fun, with renditions of camp fire songs with, ahem, slightly altered lyrics wafting across a tranquil camp site.

A big hello to Mr James Agger (aka Jamer) who has promised to relieve me of mucho dosho as long as the Mrs doesn't find out. . BTW you really did look like st this morning James.

A big thankyou to Petrol Ted for organising the whole event, and to praying/making sacrifices to the Sun Gods. P.S. I promise not to tell anyone what car you would like to get next. .

And finally I would like to say sorry to all the people I didn't get to talk to, I wasn't being rude, just the alcohol levels peaking a little early It sounded like the peeps camping behind me (Flasher,Carzee,Mrs Fish and few other well known PHers) know how to party. Maybe have a few beers and a chat at the next event (Black Tie and Pie?).

Love and Kisses Mr & Mrs Chim450

Got home a couple of hours back. Thats how long I've been in the bathroom for... washing all the grime off...

Fantastic couple of days, brilliant to see everyone.

So many funny things it's almost too much to post up!!

Best Moments...

1. The disco and bands...brilliant- all of it.

2. Iguana, coming over to the TVR boys at 2am and slagging our "kitcars" (as he put it) off.... To which The Pistheads TVR band responded with a three hour Version of "porschia Boxtaaa" to the tune of Mull of Kyntire...He left defeated at about 3:15am only to walk straight into SMiles tent and end up on his arse, thus adding another verse to the song.....you just had to be there- awesome!

3. Ted, after warning us all about miscreant behaviour gets totally w*nkered in the beer tent and ends up doing doughnuts round the field in the early hours!! :quality Ted..

4. Watching the Bubblecar on the raceway, it managed 5 feet before the rear broke and it veered head-on straight into the wall totally wrecking it!! Hilarious!

5. Finally, Ted's face when he saw our blackleg T-shirts...

Cheers to everyone, especially Ted and the other guys who helped to organise the whole thing, it was brilliant.

(special note to Bob the Planner= Thank-you for your weather prediction earlier in the week. I took an umbrella and ended up sunburned!!)

Roll on next year....but hey, we've got BTaP next...

What's happening with the video? Is there going to be one compiled like the Surrey Runs?

If so I have about 25 minutes of wandering around the cars and drag racing down on DV - If anyone wants it

Steve (Luca Brazzi) is threatening to do one, but as he hasn't finished Surrey Run Dawn Raid I'm not sure what the timescales are?

Steve - do you want me to collect the tapes first, capture them and then send them onto you - we could then have a race on who can produce one first?

hi folks

Had a great but tiring holiday finished off by a very enjoyable weekend at PistonFest. But boy has it been hot, I am finally feeling better after too much sun and alcohol on Saturday and not enough sleep on Sat night... why? I think a lot of people will also know why, that bloody song!!!!!

Nice to meet you Gemini PlanetDave, Dennis the Mencace (missed those leathers though ) Pwig, Mr and Mrs Bugmeister, Bonce and Mrs Bonce and everyone else I met. Sorry to have missed you though Pies
Also thanks to Ted and the collective known as Pistonfest for organising it all

Yep TIIVER was ours.

I had been feeling very rough all day and we were so knackered from all the driving over the past week we decided to leave. Maybe catch you at BT&P instead?
