Tim,

I know this is a bit of a cheek but....

Would it be possible for you to bring your range of TVR Chimaera silencers with you to PF03? I've got others from elsewhere that don't appear to make much difference with my noise meter and I'd like to try yours to see if they sort it...

We'll be there both days and will have my noise meter with me.

Cheers

Neil - yeah no probs... I'll probably be around the RideDrive stand both days (or the car is R44 TVR).

Tim - great news thanks, i'll bring the existing ones to compare as well, I'll try and catch you as soon as we get there on Sat to find a time that's good with you?

Cheers

Tim - big thanks for Saturday, and thanks for sitting behind the car with that noise! Can't wait to get on the track with them now. The 8Db drop was more than I was hoping, very impressed - now just off to find those brackets (Hafords don't stock bigger than 57mm). And I'll be in touch re the chip&plenum (SP?) package shortly

Neil - Sorry I didn't catch you on Saturday, will make sure I bring the meter to future stuff so let me know..

If we're talking exhaust clamps here at Halfords then they must do bigger than 57mm caus' how else are they going to put the bad'ass 3" tail pipes on the nova .
Seriously I'm sure i got a pair of 65mm ones from them last year.

Cheers guys - Halfords were adament that they have never had any, but hen again I didn't have a baseball cap on so they probably weren't interested...

Got them from a local specialist no probs - so now the rain has stopped I'll be doing another trial fitting later

It's only the tailpipes that are wide - the pipes behind them (that the clamps clamp to) are rarely over 2"
