Sunday Cherwell Vale services / M40 meet

Following the M40 thread I think there may well be enough cars heading up the M40 on Sunday morning to have a meet up and convey the route form the M40 to the 'fest.

So... How about 8.30 Sunday morning meet at Cherwell vale services on the M40, aiming to get to Stratford by 10. If we can get plenty of cars there we can then cruise quietly... onwards.

Anyone up for it. Also for anyone coming through Reading / Oxford way there are a couple of us meeting near Wallingford / Didcot at 7.45...! if you want to join.

I'll be going from oxford - I'm actually in central oxford/cowley - will you be going near oxford or shall I just neet you all at the services? (cherwell vale is the oxford south junction, isn't it? sorry, dappy head on, need sleep )

I think it is junction 10 but it is pretty well marked, it is the services after Oxford!

8.30 sounds good, are aiming to leave Wallingford way about 7.45 so if anyone is heading on the M40 at Oxford (J8) keep an eye out about 8 - 8.10 - yellow S1 and ruby S1 111s

I live just by Bicester on the A41 and will be coming up on the Sunday morning. I'm coming with a mate in his SL500.... fingers crossed for sunny topdown weather!

I'll keep checking this thread but Tvrtotty, email me if you want to meet up at say Bicester Tesco by Bicester Village!???

Small world, my mates workshop is in Wallingford next to Crowmarshe Tyre and Exhaust & Wilders.

Mate of mine (also local) has a yellow S1 so you've probably flashed each other.

Can't make the convoy as we're leaving a bit later (from Sonning Common). But see you there.

I am really Dick Whittington! Hence the moniker, been known as Twit since I was at primary school nearly 30 years ago.... aah! I know the tyre place well, one of my best mates lives v close to there!

Anyway it seems there are two groups so why not all of us meet at 8.30 as discussed, have a chat wait for the others and then blat up in huge style to the site??
