I'm in the middle of a mad panick to get the Mini ready for Pistonfest (otherwise I'll have to turn up in the panzer), and was just wondering how many others are in the same boat?

Get a trailer, then you can put the golf clubs in the passenger seat.

Just looked at your profile. Looks like your car gets washed and polished at least once per week

I'm in that boat! Car is at the paintshop now, with no windscreen, seat, belts, lights, exterior or interior fittings, engine or gearbox. But it WILL be ready for this Sunday, and fettled for the 'Fest

I'll still have to turn up in the Jeep though...

I was intending on leaving all the Le Mans dirt on the car... if so it will definitely be vying for the winner of "Pistonfest's Most Dirty Car".

Mines been in the menders, since late May, and he's only just got around to starting it this week, should be OK though, just a few coggy bits right!

Great idea - at Goodwood most of the Le Mans cars are shown as they finished the race, all covered in crap and bits hanging off!

I'm not panicking...just slightly apprehensive - the mini is getting it's FIA rollcage in on wed, an oil change, and a new o/s/f wheel bearing. I have still to buy the bloody rollcage

Thought you'd already bought it Tom? Fitting the rollcage isn't too stressful, as long as you've got a mate to help...

Bloody foglight's just packed up - got to try and find the fuse
