Hi all,

Hope I've chosen the correct forum!

I'm fortunate enough to be able to travel to Sao Paulo this year with my father to watch the Brazilian Grand Prix. I'd appreciate any words of advise/recommendation/things to avoid with regard to accommodation and transport once we're there.

I'm very comfortable putting together a travel package via the web but have never been to that part of the world before (nor am likely to for a very long time again!).

Some specific questions:
  • Can tickets be found cheaper than on F1.com?
  • Would you recommend hiring a car or is the public transport in the city safe/clean/cheap?
  • Should I DIY or would you recommend a complete tour package through an operator and if so, which company?
Thanks in advance smile
Alex

Have you found any answers to your questions? I'm just starting a search for Brazil this year as well, specifically trying to find Grandstand D at the end of the main straight but that doesn't seem widely available!
