Question for TED . Is the beer drinkable?

seriously though ted/fest what kind of beer will there be? It's a very important subject for me!

Bringing your own beer isn't a problem, although I would ask out of courtesy to the PistonPub that you don't bring it into the marquee.

A fine choice! The nearest thing to a local brew is either the Warwick brewing company (whose Market Ale is a great sunday lunch drink), Ansells (very tasty if a little on the light side) and Hook Norten. There is a microbrewery in Stratford, but it has recently gone seasonal and I've never actually drunk the stuff.

Tom, please leave space for essentials like clothes and the tent! I dont want 500 bottles of Aldi larger filling my boot and slowing my progress

For the obvious safety reasons, all drinks will be served in plastic glasses.

Because Traditional Keg/ Barrel Ales require up to 2 days to settle, & we don't want any complaints about the beer, and because we only have access to the site for 1 day previous to the event, there will not be sufficient time for delicate real ales to settle, sorry.

Is the beer all on tap or is it bottled?

Roughly how much is a pint? (i.e are we talking normal prices like £2 or stupid prices like £3?)

That about covers all my concerns

The Stella, Fosters & Caffreys will all be draught for sure- depending on the size of the bar will determine what other beers will be tap. Prices will be on an individual basis, but nothing to the extremes of £3 a pint, rest assured (unlike the rest of Stratford)!

I can't see ANY "beer" in your list at all Ted! Apart from Cafrey's Guinness stuff and Newckey Glue, it's all bleedin' yellow pi$$. I understand the problem with proper draught but any cooking keg brown beer will be better than nowt!
