Wheels Day 2003 - Good Friday ...
Discussion
A thoroughly enjoyable day! Glad you finaly dragged your arse out of bed Guy. Nice to meet you Melv.
Plenty to see from the weird to the wonderful! The sublime to the ridiculous! And in some cases, I mean ridiculous!
And as for the cars ..... ooops, I meant the cars. Some flesh was also on display
I can highly recommend a trip to any such events that may crop up near you.
Paul.

Couldn't work out why some cars were there...didn't even have V8 yank engines. But a glorious cross section of tin....total overload.......and the noise to go with it -great fun!

What a crock of Sh1t .. sorry guys, but I was expecting more than what was on display.. yes a few of the cars were nice .. very nice infact, the rest .. trumped up yank crap.. some of it in a worse state than my old grandad's cortina.. all the stalls sold the same tat .. call it an auto Jumble... you get more selection at Halfords.. a few chromed pullies, the odd stainless fuel tank.. The band was sh1te too .. apparently if you want to have an american theme, you just play the theme to "Heart Beat" through tannoy speakers at a god awful volume level.
We had more interest looking at the carparks than the actual show. Btw, anyone own the red ultima that was there ? Stig is that yours ?
Looking forward to the West country show .. dispite the inbreeding, they do put on a good show down at Shepton Mallett.
