I've heard that it's not happening this year. Is that correct does anyone know Why. My visit to the petrol station down the road to get some drinks last year was very memorable for me, there was all these filling up at the time :--

1. New Lambo ( Mulchi Thingy )
2. New Porsche Turbo
3. Plymuth Prowler
4. Tvr Cerbera
5. and just as I was Leaving a Lambo Diab

The guy I was giving a Dream ride to was dead Impressed when I left the Station with a slight oversteer problem, leaving some rubber behind me.
Those kind of moments just stay with you... for life.

That's correct it has been cancelled for some reason, I'm not sure if there is another event on that date now? If not I guess we could all just rock-up at Gaydon, pay our £7 quid, commandeer a part of the car-park and have PH6 or 7 or whatever it'll be! Rich...

Clive, it was mentioned a few months back that it had been cancelled. Don't know what the reason was?
The website certainly doesn't mention it:-

maybe something to do with all the accidents, helicopter crash last year, cobra rolled in 2001 and the TVR picked up that concrete stump in 2000 all with paying passengers inside the grounds

Ah, had forgot about that, sounds more to the point. Shame though I only live 5 miles away.

So not to disappoint you all, I am organising a day on Tues 23rd Sept at Goodwood Circuit. We will have the Supercar Drivers Club there amongst others, and numerous mouth watering cars (like a Zonda C12, Murcialago etc).

Best thing though, is that you can book a ride on the circuit as a passenger in one or more of them and all the money raised goes to the local hospital.

Had around 2000 people last year so hope we can beat that this year.

More details at www.track-attack.co.uk

Guys, I heard that the gentleman that organsises the event over the past few years is unable to it this year. Someone in the Lotus Club was telling me.

The day and the weather was excellent, one of the best days out last year.

We need another day - A SUPERCAR DAY !!!!!
