Managed a short stay (wife, kids )at Tankersley after blast up from Tibshelf.
My first P/H meeting and was well impressed. Great cars, great people and even great weather.
Thanks to Nubbin et al.

Had to go back Via Snake Pass, obviously.
Apologies to the Numpty in Rover 25 , who decided to stay in my way as long as posssible, for outbraking him into lefthander.

I'll second that. A fantastic day with weather and company to match.

Yup, great day. My first meet too, good to meet Mrs Fish and Mungo, plus a few old car club faces as well.

Good job well done Nubbin, thanks....

DC, sorry I didn't get to meet you! Next time, perhaps?

Anyone who has any good photos, (or any at all really!) - will you send them to me? Cheers!

And thanks for the comments - I enjoyed it immensely, and after Chatsworth last year, the weather was fantastic. There will be another!!

Jarel's just been talking to Jonathan (works for Jon), who stopped by at Tankersley today (after intriguedly (< is this a word ?) trailing a couple of TVRs) and is now even more overexcited about the impending arrival of his Tuscan than he was before. You lot are so friendly

No, I didn't see you around, I met your car however, very nice...

I wouldn't have made good company today, first meet and sooooooooo many TVR's, it could almost send you blind. Looking forward to the next time and I'll be sure to say hello!

Cheers

DC.

Yeah, when's the next?

Wouldn't you know, today was the day my car went in for a service.

Could well have missed the best motoring weekend in a long time

Excellent show - would love to see the video of us all coming up the motorway from Tibshelf.

Good turnout at 10.30-11am

superb drive up

Followed by a fantastic array of TVR's
waiting for the stragglers...

Nubbin organised as many diferent examples of the TVR brand as possible for a shoot

And then the crowning glory was the chap who followed us from Tibshelf

superb - it doesn't matter what you come in really as long as you enjoy yourself!!

Fabulous day out with the added benefit of a 14 strong convoy over the Snake Pass and then some seriously twisty minor roads pitting man and machine against some serious landscape. Great way to start the TVR season and get the rooves off.

Well done Duncan for organising it. Only disappointment was that it went too quickly and I didn't get as far as meeting yourself or the infamous Mungo. So, you'll have to start planning the next one now won't you. Make it near the Snake Pass again please as I like hills and don't like motorways.

A great day out, when is the next?

Driving up snake pass with 14 TVR's in your rear view mirror is good fun, the minor road from snake pass to the A616 was fantastic. It was so good that some of us did it again on the way home.

Thanks for arranging a good day out Nubbin.

Can we do it again

Could I complement everyone on the excellent parking, this meet was by far and away the best display of vehicular husbandry I have seen. I really need to be at the next
