Dorset Dawdle Too
Discussion
After the success of the Dorset Dawdle, Denny has come up with the route for Dorset Dawdle 2. Proposed date is the 30th March 2003. If there is sufficient interest we will ask Ted to add it to the diary.
Lunch will be at West Bay to allow stones to be thrown into the sea - Sorry Karen, no sand this time

Errr - Bob. You have done it again!
That clashes with a Bristol meet so I can't make it.
Not only that; but we are heading your direction; about half way in fact!
All the Tivs from your direction, D&C, Somerset have already been invited. We'd better hope it's a nice day and we end up with plenty of Tivs to share between the two events.

The last one was in the middle of the month and this one the last - how come we clash this time ?
[Edit] Bu$$er - Looked at the Bristol events - wanted to do the Fleet Air Arm Museum meet as I never went there when I lived in Yeovil. Can we delay DD2 'til 13th April ? [/edit]

Bob - Cheers!
That'll save any hassle.
Yup - Yeovilton is a darned good aviation theme park. Last went there a few years ago and I'm looking forward to going back and seeing what new features they have added.
A friend told me that even his long suffering missis enjoyed it - so it can't be bad.

Some good roads in this one. Are we going to split into two groups - dawdlers and not-so-dawdlers?
John
We can do this any way that pleases. As long as there is someone at the front who can read / knows the route and we meet at the start / lunch / finish I don't see any issues. If anyone wants to join or leave part way thats also OK by me. Its the joining in / chatting / sharing experiences / having fun that count for me, this is just a way for me to have fun, if other people enjoy it thats a bonus !
Care to join me on route proving and lead 'the non-dawdlers' ? Two/Three cars on a proving run will progress faster than a 'fast' group ! Also sharing the load of ensuring people have maps/know where they are going will be appreciated
Note proposed change of date to the 13th April.
Bob
Great news on the date change - I just logged in to say I'd remembered (been reminded, actually!) that we are off in foreign parts at the end of March. But 13th April is fine.
I'm up for route proving with you and taking some of the nav responsibility on the day. Should be fun.
Let me know when.
John.
