PHers go Karting
Patrick Weightman recalls the recent karting jolly in Leicestershire
Discussion
So got any more pictures of the day Patrick? Any chance of one of a certain kart bounceing into the tyre wall and then scooting along in comedy fashion I imagine this one will have 'accidently' been erased from the camera.
But even in the weather a top day was had by all, bring on the next one in the snow

Sound's like wickid :flickhandclickwrist: fun!
I'd have loved to have bee in on that!
Let's not forget this was not the only (even if it was the most prestigious) karting event held over the weekend.
Kimbolton's well worn but challenging venue played host to the final round of it's own clubman challenge this year.
My good friend, Kevin Sale (a one time but as yet unconverted PH'er) carried a championship lead of 1 point into the event.
The cold dry weather meant good fast conditions for testing on Saturday and the first heats on Sunday. As the day drew on the rain came, playing right into the Kevster's hands. Being one of the more...ehem... experienced combatants he was able to drop the young whipersnappers and consolidate and final and tournement winning lead of 11 points.
Well done that man! I hope that makes up a little for not being able to contest the nationals this year or come out drinking with us(properly) on Fiday night!
Karting eh? I can't wait to have another go myself. Roll on the next one. How about one nearer the bridge over the river Cam?
-just a thought.
