beaulieu super car event 3rd 4th aug, did any one go?

did any one go, we were there saturday, interesting being lead down the road by 3 horses taking over the whole road befoe we went in, we did saturday, but was empty spaces, tried to get in sunday, but was told over subscribed, but friends that were there, said quite a few empty spaces, was a fantastic turn out with some awesome cars

Yep, went on the Sunday.

Was the "hypercar display" on the Sat? If it was on the Sun I missed it despite looking at everything on display.

I have to say, and I've been before, but the organisation is really good-- getting in and out was a breeze, the marshalls etc did a good job.

I've been for the last few years but didn't bother this year.

It's a great event - but if you're displaying a car, you have to get there early and it does feel like you're trapped there until at least ~3pm - it tends to get a bit boring by then.

There was a tannoy announcement on the Sunday, the restricting was until 1530. Having only been there for the day, there was plenty to do in my opinion (we arrived around 1015).

we did wonder why every one was looking at the cars in our row from a distance, didnt realise we had been roped off, people were still able to step over and ask about the cars, we had a roller, vipers, bmw i8. wish we had filmed the final bit of the journey approaching beaulieu, we had 3 gorgeous horses in front of us, in the middle of both lanes, holding up 15 various supercars, as they should, and then when parking back at the hotel, trying not to spook 2 lovely horses just watching the cars come in was something else,

any one suss out the gold wrist bands, for the free teas, and pastries, some people got them some didnt, we joined the queue like typical brits, to be told we werent on the list, not sure if i missed off ticking something, or if it was due to only being there on the saturday, any way, in the diary for next year to apply for tickets. really great day out. finished with a run down to the coast for sunday morning before heading home.

The "Gold" wristbands (I think) were for people showing supercars or doing demo runs. I "think" the only people who didn't get them were people who went with clubs on club pitches as Beulieu had no control over them and did not curate them. My Bro went last year with the TVR CC and didn't get a wristband, I went independent as a demo run car and did.

My Sunday Run from last year (I know it was Sunday as the car broke down at Beaulieu Saturday!) put up by Beaulieu in their publicity
