Discussion
Anyone going to this? Weather is looking ok, and it seems it's been a big turn out in previous years.

Was there but was away at about noon.
Traffic getting in was an utter joke, don’t recall it being that bad ever before. No idea what the issue was, took us about 50 minutes from turning off the main road. Understand that queues were about 3 miles at one point.
Not sure I’ll bother again on that basis.

I went to this, as I have done many times now but I think that this one will have been my last.
As mentioned above, absolute chaos trying to get in. A single track entrance for over 1,400 cars is never going to work, especially as they were scanning tickets at the last pinch point on the lane instead of moving forwards a few yards where two cars could then get side by side. The hold up wasn't helped by one particular group who successfully managed to close the road off whilst they positioned their cars in their allocated stand. There was loads of space to go round the back and drive in but they decided to all pull across the road individually to reverse in so no-one could get through.
It seems that greed has taken over with the amount of cars they're allowing to enter. I wouldn't be surprised if there are repercussions for the organisers as the traffic was queuing back beyond Boroughbridge at one stage which can't be good for the local population. I was there quite early and it still took 45 minutes to get parked up from the start of the lane, a little later on it was taking people over 2 hours to get in
I went to the September one as well last year but won't be doing that one either this time
