Always fancied this, but it looks a bit highbrow.

Can the average punter have a look around without being out of place?

Out of place or not. Go take a look. No one will bat an eyelid.

Not been to London, but visited the Hampton Court Concours a few times which looks a very similar format.

Not high-brow at all, actually a really good day out and a great chance to get up-close to some amazing cars. Owners were happy to have a chat about their cars. Usually some celebs around too... my wife was very pleased I got a pic of David Gandy!

I took my 12-year-old son a few years ago and it was great. I was a little concerned I’d be ridiculed for not sporting a blazer and red trousers but we were thankfully ignored.

I’ve been for the last 2 years, I’m giving it a miss this year as my mate who I go with is abroad.

It is relatively highbrow and there are a lot of people in salmon trousers (and virtually nobody in baseball caps and trainers) but it’s not so snobby that you would feel out of place. I go down from Yorkshire for it!

It’s not the biggest of events but it is certainly different and a quirky location in a cricket ground in the City. The cars are usually quite fascinating and there’s an interesting theme. You may see that it’s a regular feature with Harry Metcalfe and I would say that if you enjoy his videos and his collection then this would be up your street.

As it’s quite small I’ve got the afternoon ticket. This is from 4pm and gets you in until it closes at 7pm, which is ample time to see everything more than once. The cost was £25 (not sure of this year’s fee) but that also gets you a large G&T thrown in.

Thank you. Sounds good, I’ll get a ticket booked.

I’m going along this year - bit of bonding with my brother who’s in the red trouser brigade whilst I’m most definitely not. Harry’s videos over the years convinced me it’s worth the trip.

A few pics from yesterday evening, all fairly relaxed and some special stuff on display.

I went along yesterday as well. Nice show, really relaxed atmosphere considering the value of the kit on display.

I’ve had my car there the last couple of years. It’s a pretty relaxed affair and some amazing cars to mooch around and a good place to catch up with friends.
Any excuse for a pic…

I wondered as I approached that one if it was the 300k mile one from Evo.
