Mercedes-Benz World Sunday Service 24/03

Breakfast, cars and driving simulators - what more do you need on a Sunday morning?

If you just can’t wait until August for our Annual Service then fear not, our next Sunday Service is just around the corner. We’re heading back to Surrey and the ever-popular Mercedes-Benz World.

If you've never been before, it's a spectacular family-friendly venue spread over three floors where you can easily lose yourself for hours. They've got road cars and F1 cars on display, racing simulators, driving experiences and even a cinema to watch the F1 live (during opening hours).

We have space for 350 cars on the railway straight (part of the old Brooklands race circuit) and we will be there from 9:00 until 13:00 on Sunday 24 March. There’s slightly less capacity this year as we’re asking SC:UK to join us for 2024, and I’m sure you’ll give them a warm PH welcome.

There will be light refreshments available on the railway straight, or you can go to the Recharge Café indoors for a more extensive range of barista coffees, with breakfast and lunch also available. As ever, we’ll have merch ready for you to buy, so head over to the PistonHeads gazebo for a t-shirt, sticker or keyring.

The elite team of Mercedes-Benz World pro drivers will be offering passenger rides on a first come first served basis for £15 from the bus stop across from the railway straight, so make sure you go and put your name down when you arrive to secure a slot.

This is always a popular venue, so sign up here to join us. Please only put your name down if you’re 100% sure you can make it on the day. We'll see you there!

When: Sunday March 24, 09:00 - 13:00
Where: Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands Drive, Weybridge, KT13 0SL
Cost: FREE
Spaces: 350 cars
Tickets: Book your space here

How PH has changed over the last 20 years... a Sunday Service with 169 cars listed and only one TVR amongst them! cry

Still, I guess variety is the spice of life. driving

Been like that for years. Doesn’t make it any worse or better.

Always look forward to this one.

Will there be any driving experiences like previous events or just passenger rides?

The passenger rides are specifically set up for us, but I'm sure there'll be loads of driving experiences operating on the day as well if you want to book one for while you're there. Further details are on their website here https://www.mercedes-benzworld.co.uk/driving-exper...

Be aware of road closures on the M25/A3 junction, has been rather congested for many weeks recently.

Just FYI.

I've decided to just comment on each story today based on my first thoughts so here goes

Imagine being older than 20 years old and having to see either of those two cars in the title photo on your drive.

On the list and everything but do we get an email with a pdf to stick in the windscreen/phone for this these days?

I booked a space, but I have been put in the reserve section. Would I get a space if I arrived earlier, or would I be told to park elsewhere, if I was still in the reserve section by Sunday the 24th?

You normally get some dropouts before the day but you can only park within the Pistonheads area if you are on the main list.

Hopefully people do the right thing and remove themselves from the list of they can’t make it

Been ages since i've been to a PHSS so i'm looking forward to it! Wish I could say i'd be attending in the 86 but will just be the daily so will see myself to the public car park laugh
Hopefully later in the year I can roll my heap of a project in to an event, likely the PH Annual!

Just for clarity, is there any point coming down now the list is full + reserve? Would probably only mooch for an hour with the kids and not fussed about parking up "on display" as it were. It's quite local to me.
