Porsche GB Sunday Service 22/10

Join us for an exclusive event at Porsche GB HQ in Reading!

Porsche and PistonHeads go together like rhubarb and custard. It’s the number one searched-for marque in the classifieds, rather a lot of you own them, and you have such an insatiable appetite for Porsche editorial content, that we’ve been dubbed PorschetonHeads more than once...

Well, here’s another string to add to that bow, as the next instalment of Sunday Service will be coming to you live from Porsche GB’s HQ in Reading on October 22nd. If the thought of standing in the office car park sounds like a less than thrilling prospect, rest assured that Porsche Centre Reading is right next door and it will be opening its doors just for us - with a very limited capacity of 200 cars. You don't have to own a Porsche to come though, everyone is welcome.

The event will raise funds for charity Place2Be, which supports the mental health of children and young people - a very worthy cause, we can all agree. Consequently, the event is ticketed at £5 per car, with 100% of the proceeds going to Place2Be. Book your ticket here and be quick, as we can’t see these hanging around.

As ever, there will be the usual eclectic mix of cars on the day - and quite a few Porsches - alongside some rather special press cars. Additionally, a hot breakfast is available for anyone who chooses to tackle the M4 on an empty stomach and Carburettor Coffee will be brewing up a storm. You can count on the usual PistonHeads merchandise, of course. And no doubt a great selection of Porsche merchandise, too. We'll see you there!

Once you’ve bought your ticket here, add your name to the calendar here

Ticketing is a little bit different with this event, as we're working with Porsche to raise money for Place2be. Therefore adding your name to our calendar won't guarantee entry – please buy a ticket here (tickets are per car, and not per person) before adding your name to the PH calendar.

I just tried to buy a ticket.

Been told that the allocation is low. If i will buy 3 tickets to the reading knitting convention and a further 12 tickets for the wedding fair in maidenhead my dealer will be able to offer me an allocation but be prepared i may need to pay over the ticket price..................

seems odd but it is Porsche so must be acceptable?

That’s a bit odd, I went straight to the site & didn’t get any of that ‘interaction’… ticket was transactional…?

He’s humorously referencing the dealership RS allocation policy

This event has now sold out. It's worth signing up to the waiting list though if you weren't able to secure a ticket, as you'll get an email if we refund any tickets and you're next in line.

You can even get breakfast at mickeys, and fill up at the fuel station where Porsche fill up cars. Crazy!

That said, I got s ticket. hehe amazing how quickly that sold out. I think it’s the closest Sunday service that there will ever be to me. 5 miles away.

Something quite ironic about Porschenheaders forking out cash to pay for another Porsche marketing event. Genius from the manufacturer

Can say I see anything wrong with the bit that says 100% of the fees goes to a child mental health charity.
