Car meet today in Surrey/Sussex
Discussion
Sitting in my lonely office in Godalming today, I have just noticed a steady parade of some very nice cars heading down towards Midhurst/Halsemere.
Not particular theme but lots of nice 911s, a bronze Testarossa, a couple of more modern Ferraris, a rally painted up Toyota GR Yaris, a few Mclarens, at least two olde world Bentleys, some XJS. Basically a very proper selection of about 40 different Pistonheads type cars.
Is there something going on that I should have swopped shifts for?

It was the Douze Coupes Cruise '23, organised by PH's own Woody.GT and Louie Martin in support of the Anthony Nolan charity. Not particular theme but lots of nice 911s, a bronze Testarossa, a couple of more modern Ferraris, a rally painted up Toyota GR Yaris, a few Mclarens, at least two olde world Bentleys, some XJS. Last year's cruise:
It was also the Goodwood Road Racing Club's annual family/open day for its members today. Lovely excuse for a drive through Sussex on a sunny summers' day. About 50 owners get chosen to display their cars in front of Goodwood House, and there's a vote to choose the most popular. Everything from a classic Fiat 500 to a Zonda today. The Alfa GTAm looking stunning in the sunshine, but then I am biased about green cars!
