BLMRA 500 12th/13th August
Discussion
Hi all, hoping I'm allowed to share this here?
It's the British Lawn Mower Racing's Association 50th anniversary this year, pre-covid they would hold a 12 hour overnight endurance race every year which would be about 350 laps. To celebrate the 50th year they have change it to a 500 lap race.
It's being held in Five Oaks, West Sussex with the race starting at 19:00 with practice and qualifying earlier in the day. I'm taking part on a Westwood Lawnbug, should be good for 50-60mph on the straights alongside another 50 teams competing.
Might be a little late to get an entry in now if you wanted to take part, but the event is open to the public with a bunch of other stuff there for all the family.
Just google BLMRA 500 if you are interested or shout here and I'll do my best to answer...
