Flywheel returns to Bicester Heritage
The festival of automotive and aviation is back - save 20 per cent on tickets with PH
PH25 tickets booked? Check. If like us you don’t need much of an excuse for yet another trip to Bicester Heritage, you’ll be glad to know that Flywheel is making a return once again to the iconic venue. For the first time since 2018, the automotive and aviation festival will be on the track and in the skies from 17-18 June at the historic former WW2 bomber station in Oxfordshire.
Some of the finest historic race cars and modern heroes will take to the track in a full day of wings-and-wheels celebrations, marking a decade of Bicester Heritage on Father’s Day weekend this summer.
The Bentley ‘Blower’ - surely the most famous of all the Bentley racers - will lead the Le Mans category, with all manner of runs covering a century of motoring. The sole-surviving Blenheim Bomber will fly into its spiritual home, eight decades since the first training flights flew from RAF Bicester. It will be joined by a Spitfire Mark I, in the air and on static display.
Tickets for the family – and dog! – friendly event start at £7.50 for U15s, with adults admission £27.00. But we’ve blagged a 20 per cent discount code for PHers as well, so enter Flywheel23Offer at the checkout.
