Stuck for something to do this weekend

Retro Rides Weekender

20th & 21st May 2023

Goodwood Motor Circuit, PO18 0PH

Retro Rides Weekender is back in action at Goodwood Circuit. Once again we'll be bringing together our world famous mix of pre-2000 retro cars, classics, customs, restomods, hot rods, race cars, drift cars, show cars, curated paddocks, curated displays, track action, laid back atmosphere and good food.

We have our curated themed paddocks again this year, details of which you can find below. Alongside that we have our Club Showcase Area and Retro parking on the track on Sunday. If you arrive in a pre-2000 car on either day we'll find a spot for you inside the show to park up and enjoy the day.

We are a family friendly event and dogs are welcome.

Camping sold out but day tickets available via www.retroridesweekender.com

Saturday

Track action in the form of sprints (full circuit) and a short course special stage (using 1/3 of circuit in both directions)

Up to 30 cars from the "Classic Touring Car Racing Club" on track between sprints/short course

Plus

Sunday

Static show on large part of the track, paddocks and outfield

Track Action - "autosolo"

Spaces still available for afternoon Cost £30 for as many runs as you can fit in (normally a lot)

Previous events (video tasters so you can see a little of what the event is about)

God that looks so good, so many cars that are right up my street. That 80 Quattro launch! (I think I’ve seen another vid of that car).

I think I’ll try and coincide my next trip back with this.

It is a brilliant event. The cheap version of FoS. Really enjoy it each year.

Nice idea, not so much the 5.5 hour drive each way unfortunately.

Was there from 7am to 7pm - saw nothing apart from the paddock - my Track people had a good time (couple of underpants needed changing but no contact with the wall)

Be very interested in feedback from anyone that watched the two different formats as to which they liked biggrin

Nice to see a simple entry criteria (pre-2000) rather than complex (and often nonsense) lists of worthy cars.
