Are we allowed to organise multi day runs out on PistonHead?

I was planning on trying to gather 10-18 cars together for a 3 day run in Wales. I'll basically organise the routes and stops.
Had some interest on one of the forums but post got taken down - even though I'm NOT charging a fee or anything and people are booking their own hotels etc.

Anyone know if its okay to organise on here?

Yep as long as it's not a business venture, crack on thumbup Although if we sense that there is commercial gain, then posts/threads will be deleted in line with our rules of posting.

So full disclosure - I'm organising a run in Wales over 3 days (I won't post dates until I get the all clear). It's a not a commercial venture - I'm not charging a fee and everyone has to book their own hotels. I'm just organising the routes and stops. I've already planned a lot of it.

HOWEVER - the thing is IF the drive goes well, and people enjoy the routes etc - I'm potentially thinking of setting up something in the future as a business. Most likely something next year - but at the earliest this year mid-summer.

At the moment I'm just exploring this idea and dipping my toe in the water - and why I'd like to hold a smallish driving tour (no more than 18 cars total) and just explore the viability.

Does that sound like something I can post?

As I mention - nothing may come of it, but in the same vain - if it all goes really well, and people enjoy it, then I'd probably want to set something up as business in the future at some point.

It sounds like something you could gain from personally, so isn't something that complies with our rules of posting I'm afraid.

In the Scotland section.
The Highland Hoon used to be organised (think the last one was circa 2012) on Pistonheads.
It was always a multi day trip in the Highlands. There was never any commercial gain as we just arranged meeting points and staying points etc on the site.
The Highland hoon usually had 50+ cars involved.

The organiser is now a self employed highland tour company with several minibuses.

No worries.

If you don't mind - is there someone I can speak to directly? in making this possible?
I totally understand you are a business - and that advertising is the the bread and butter.

OR Is there anything that could be worked out that allows me to post the event this one initial time on the forums?
Even something like having pistonheads window decals during the drive - for anyone who decides to join from pistonhead forum?
Or anything else you guys can think of that you guys feel is fair.

As I mention - I'm doing this for fun for now - and I'm not getting any monetary benefit whatsoever.
