SUNDAY 14 AUGUST

Exhibitors to arrive between 8am - 9.30am

Gates open to visitors at 10am

CLAYESMORE SCHOOL, Iwerne Minster, Dorset, DT11 8LL

My son has just completed his Business and Enterprise A Levels at Clayesmore School in Dorset. Following his tremendous success with organising Supercar meets with his South Coast Supercar Club, Clayesmore have spotted his talent and are hosting his latest event on the 14th August.

This is not for financial gain and hopefully allowed within Rule 6 of he Rules of Posting, as it is to support my son as a young enthusiast in Supercars and building his portfolio for his ongoing Further Education.

With over 120 cars already registered, it is going to be another roaring success and great fun for owners and families. Set in front of Clayesmore’s majestic Main House, Sunday 14th August promises to be a incredible day for lovers of prestige cars; from the super bright supercars, to heritage and classic beauties.

Set in 70 acres of glorious grounds, with a sweeping driveway to the main house, Clayesmore couldn't be more of a stunning backdrop to display exotic and heritage cars. In case you recognise the school, it is the filming location for the famous Only Fools and Horses Chandelier scene!

A community event for all the family, with gourmet street food, fizz & entertainment. What’s not to love!

Entry is FREE for Exhibitors and passengers, and you are requested to register here to ensure you gain access to the exhibitor entrance.

If you fancy a day out with friends and family and do not have a Supercar or Classic to enter, then tickets are available on the day or at a special PH rate here.

Just down the road from me so I've registered to bring the Lambo along on Sunday (assuming I can collect it this afternoon post-MOT lol)

Hopefully see a few other PHers there.

The email:

Dear Exhibitor,

We are delighted you are joining us this Sunday at our inaugural Clayesmore Classic & Supercar Sunday.
Thanks to you and other private owners and clubs, we have an extraordinary array of cars which will no doubt wow the crowds!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUNDAY
The postcode for Clayesmore is DT11 8LL (A350 between Blandford and Shaftesbury)
Ideally arrival is no earlier than 8am, and no later than 9.30am please!

All exhibition cars will enter via our Sports Centre entrance, you will see AA yellow signage on the roadside, follow the directions for EXHIBITORS
In order to 'zone' cars on the showground area, we are using colours to group cars.

On arrival please let the person at the security hut know you are:

COLOUR - [I'm Yellow, but I guess everyone is being grouped]

You will be given a coloured card to show when you get around to the main show area for marshals to direct you.

You will then be parked in the relevant area

The event is billed to end at 2.30, but it may run on later as there is so much to see and it will be such good weather.

We will have the Clayesmore shepherd's hut open from 8am, selling coffee, tea and bacon rolls.

We wish you all a great day, and thank you again for your support!

Best wishes,

MisterBigglesworth

Thanks Johnny,

I’m sure if I turn up in time they will find some space to squeeze me in and figure out where I should be zoned, otherwise will go for a burn down to Blandford and pop in as a spectator smile

Nice day out, great to say Hi to MrB and doubtless a few other PHers as well.

Car of the day for me was undoubtedly the Alfa GTAm, I doubt I'll ever see another one. What a car.

Thanks guys! Zander was delighted with how well attended the event was and has asked me to pass on his sincere thanks for everyone who attended and stayed to the end. There were 900 cars pre booked tickets and 400 purchases at the gate, with approximately 160 exhibitors.

He’s already planning the next one!

Zander is starting his degree in Business Management this year and will be looking for an internship at some point, so if anyone who attended was impressed with what he achieved and would be interested in speaking to him further, just let me know.

Thanks everyone! Great show!
Hot Hot Hot.
