Malibu Country Mart

Every Sunday morning in a shopping center in Malibu, California, car enthusiasts from all over southern California gather to ogle beautiful cars of all vintages. Typically, there are dozens of Ferraris, Lambos, many dozens of Porsches, McLarens, and every other marque you can think of... This morning, I met three friends at the center and we had breakfast outdoors at one of the restaurants in the center while cars were streaming into the center. A beautiful big block Cobra recreation parked right next to our table. Jay Leno showed up in a screaming yellow with black coves McLaren, and two of my friends showed up with their red De Tomaso Panteras, so with mine we brought 3 red early Panteras. Below is a picture of the three of us parked together. My friend Shimon is on the left with his car, my friend Riley is on the right with his, and I'm in the middle with mine. All three cars are gorgeous and each slightly different shades of red, and all gathered lots of attention from the hundreds of aficionados walking through the car meet.

Good friends, great cars, terrific breakfast, what more could you want for a Sunday service?

Went to an organized car meet late last evening in the northwest part of Los Angeles with over 300 attendees and their cars. Huge turnount with a lot of great cars. My friend and I brought our Panteras and were asked to park in the "exotics" parking area. The car meet started with a 2 hour show of all the cars followed by a long drive into Beverly Hills and then onto Santa Monica ending about midnight.

Back at Malibu Country Mart again last Sunday, and once again a 3 Pantera day, mine, my friend Riley's, and a new Pantera owner's Aaron and his new to him Mint green Pantera. Some other rare sitings. as well.
