Anyone planning on going to the Spa GP at the end of August? The circuit issued some guidance last week which makes it look ok to travel if you are double vaccinated. Otherwise it looks like you can't attend. Or at least that is how I interpreted it. I was planning to go as a carry over from last year but as my son is 17 and un vaccinated I think I need to transfer it again to next year.

I'm in a similar situation and planning taking my son (16 so no vaccinations) and I think its utterly confusing.
Our original plan is to Eurotunnel it down on the Wednesday.

Most of it may be do-able, but where I'm falling down is given my boy isn't vaccinated is he allowed into Belgium (with me obviously) plus the entry requirements to the circuit is that he's got to have had a negative test within 48hrs of attendance....so if we're there from Thurs to Sun he's going to have to have (and I've got to pay for!) four tests (one for travel in, two to cover the weekend, and one more for travel bacK?).
Finally because of the recent changes / we're coming back through France (even though its only a transit/not stopping) do we have to self isolate for 10 days?

My ticket provider has said I can't transfer our tickets to next year and the Covid insurance will not cover the costs if we can't go (unless I actually get covid/have to isolate over the race period)

Ok good to know I'm not alone. Are none vaccinated kids allowed into Belgium then if accompanied by a double jabbed adult? I couldn't find anything specifically allowing that. Totally agree it is baffling.

Ok spoke to the circuit and kids post 12 years old will not qualify for a covid safe ticket. I've asked for my ticket to be moved to 2022.

Ah, that's interesting...I had emailled them with a couple of clarification points earlier and I was hoping/thinking that the "be in possession of a negative PCR test carried out no more than 48 hours prior to the day of attendance at the event." would be able to cover the youngsters entry criteria.

If/when I hear back I'll post

I've just had the same response back - children /over 12's have to be fully vaccinated -having the negative test isn't enough
