Nope, got turned down.Well, I was too far from home to turn back. It was 50 mins in a very slow moving 1.6 mile queue down the country lane leading up to the venue. Bit more queuing to get in (even with ticket, but that was only 5-10 mins.
Was it worth it? I think so. There were plenty on interesting cars including loads of Aston’s (tick) and the usual Fezza, Porkers and Lambos. Favourite? Probably the single Weissman - great owner who was rightly proud of his very rare and beautiful car.
Not even remotely on par with the likes of Goodwood FOS. But plenty of exhibition cars leaving in dribs and drabs from 2pm, so you could at least see them move and hear them!
The classic Alfa 8C collection was nice.
Catering was overwhelmed and terrible reception (ie. none) meant none of their card machines worked, so you had to have cold, hard, cash to get grub and drink.
Worth the price? Only just. But worth trying once. If only for the secondary displays scattered across the parking field

For what it's worth my two peneth:
If you want a supercar event the Beaulieu Supercar weekend/showdown is the best. Too late this year if you want to show your car as they've passed their 900 limit.
It's not a cheap day and I don't think it justifies a weekend ticket, you can do most bits in a day. We like to tour the house, we do the museum late on while everyone is starting to file (queue to get) out. Weather permitting there's a great falconry demonstration in the Abbey, so a family ticket at approx. £50 becomes reasonable value for money.
If you you have an eligible car then apply to show your car next year. My car's only just eligible but gets in quite often and I have to say they look after you better than most (any) shows I go to. they rope off your car as soon as you arrive, there's a driver's rest area (tent) with complimentary tea, coffee etc. They acknowledge that all those punters paying the £50 wouldn't come without your cars.

Hi there,
My first time at this event and it was a 4.5 hour round trip for me (including queueing to get in).
I think they need to space it out more, there were so many people there and getting close to the cars was not always easy.
The selection of cars was ok although some of them were a little dubious to be classed as supercars, however the main reason for me going was to see the collection of Alfa 8c's and this certainly didn't disappoint.
A full gallery of well over 400 images is now live on my website including plenty of interesting spots from the car park :-)

Couple of shots from Stonor. Managed to get the Dodge Challenger and 360 in.
The Lambo silhouette was one of my favourites at the show! Like a grown-up X1/9 which the owner and myself have had the pleasure of owning. Same door handles too. How the hell did I remember that after <cough> too many years?autofocus said:

Glad you also noticed the Avantime in the car park! Always fascinated by that car.
Ever saw the modern Alfa 8C. But I did notice some exhibitors sneaking out before 1pm.

Yes I did get round quite a lot of the show to grab pics of as many cars as I could.
I left about 1:45pm and there were a few cars leaving from the main display

Excellent pics again Autofocus ,you've been to more shows in a month than I've been in 2 years .
Wasn't sure which era of Alfas was going to show up until I saw the pics , that's a great gathering of those .
Not sure on the new look 992 GT3 not that I was going to order one anyway as bank balance isn't Porsche compatible .
