Anyone used one of these driving trip companies ?
Discussion
Always wanted to do one of those organised driving tours where they take you along some nice roads, and arrange the meals and accomodation etc and finally got a toy I want to do this in now.
I've found one online called Petrolhead Tours, and one of facebook called Porsche Driving days UK, which have 2 day trip of Wales next month that looks rather nice, but just after some experiences.
Anyone used one of these companies before they can recommend ? And apart from those 2 are there any others that are worth looking into ?
Not used either of those but have done several tours and really enjoy them.
Just a few tips, check the mileage between each stop, one I did was too ambitious and the daily distances (and therefore the speeds one drove) became tiresome, giving little time to enjoy the surroundings. Also worth checking if there i mechanical backup in case of any breakdowns. I would check the types of cars you will be touring with depending on whether you into speed on country roads of taking it easy, nice lunch stops and good hotels.

I’ve used a UK trackday organiser for an organised European tour and to be honest wasn’t especially impressed, nor with the UK trackday thrown in afterwards-way over subscribed for the circuit size.
Put me off doing it again, which is a shame as I like the idea of an organised tour with someone else taking care of arrangements and finding the nice roads!
