Well, better to do that now than to go to Oulton on the day.
Guess with it being at Bolesworth Castle it’ll feel a lot more like Goodwood. Know what to expect.
I just spent way to long trying to figure out why it had moved to Oulton Park and not being able to find anything about it.Well, better to do that now than to go to Oulton on the day.

We have tickets carried over from last year, never been. Sorted Camper hire last week, looking forward to it.
Haha, I think perhaps if the mods could change Oulton to Bolesworth Castle that’ll be helpful.
Looking forward to hearing some F1 cars in real life. Unsure of what else is gonna be there but should be a good event all the same, remember going to Cholmondeley once when it was on so if it’s anything like that then great.

No pictures as there was hardly anything there worth taking any of. For something billed as "car"fest it was pretty light on actual car content. The track runs were ok, and it was nice to see a Benetton running, but that was it for car related stuff. We went after school on Friday so missed some of the Friday bands and departed Sunday AM, again, cos schools here aren't out yet.
The music line ups were actually pretty good, really that was the highlight, we spent a lot of Saturday waiting around for the music to start, I wouldn't have done that again on Sunday even if I didn't have to have the kids back unless I really wanted to see somebody in the line up.
We got woken by Chris Evans on his Tuk Tuk at 9am beeping his hown right next to our camper on Sunday, which was a bit of fun with a whole rigmarole of dancers and drummers around.
Would we go again? Probably not unless the line up was special. Very very expensive weekend. I'd rather spend the money upgrading this years Saturday at Silverstone F1 to a full weekend.

As an entrant we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! My wife and I were both driving but we'd brought our 2 boys along, between the runs and in the evenings, there was plenty to entertain the boys - the dancing sheep was a highlight. It really is a family event! Getting into the event was free for us (preparing and bringing the cars certainly wasn't!) and we did meet some friends who told us they had paid £750 for the whole family to camp in a motorhome for the whole 3 days... that does feel very expensive, especially given the prices of things inside the event, but I'm a bit out of touch of festival costs nowadays so maybe it's the norm!

We thought it was brilliant....and the weather was amazing too.
3 days for a family of 4 for £375...so about £30 each per day....with some of it going to charity...very very cheap in my opinion.
Some amazing performances, for me in particular rag n bone man, charlatans, happy Mondays, Tom grennan, Beverly night, Roger daltrey singing 6 who songs! Even mcfly were great! Plus about 20 other acts, all the extra stuff like the cars, carnival etc etc plus great food...it's a thumbs up from me.

We paid about the same but had to hire a camper on top, which doubled that, plus 50 quid in fuel. So not great value, but I've always wanted to go and see what it was like so it ticked that box. We'd do things differently if we went again. I'd take the kids out of school (not something I've done before but they're doing feck all at the end of term anyway) and do the full weekend, plus upgrade from a VW T5 to something we can be in without being on top of one another. I'd prefer to do the full GP weekend instead.3 days for a family of 4 for £375...so about £30 each per day....with some of it going to charity...very very cheap in my opinion.

Silverstone Classic on Saturday, just for the day, not been before, so that'll be another new one for us.
