Hi all, if it's cool with the PH thread rules I would like to suggest a Covid friendly spring cruise with anyone who is up for it. Any motors, the sportier and more exclusive the better.

This isn't a fast and furious thing, just a car appreciation thing. If anyone has experience of organizing this sort of informal event then let me know.

Any pictures of cars that want to join then post them here. And I hope that we can enjoy a lap of the M25 (within the speed limit) in a couple of weeks time.

Hurrah! I don't make the grade.

My one aim in life is to never own a motorcar deemed worthy enough to be allowed into a show.

It’s very easy to organise.

Stick it on FB, Instagram, RoadStr etc say where you’re meeting , what time and the route. Always mention “drive safe, no revving, burnouts” etc

And watch the numbers roll in.

That last line there means you'll own something that will one day be 'of interest' enough to be allowed in a show?

Maybe if I read your username correctly you could do it in a truck?

Just a thought?

as I'm now a bus driver I'd love to eventually turn up to a 'show' in a bus....lol

I'd certainly be up for it. If you have a particular date in mind, do let me know and I'll see if I can fit it around my work rotas. I'm fairly flexible if the date is a month or two in advance, less so if my rotas have already been set (although my colleagues would generally understand if I asked to swap shifts).

Festival of the unexceptional entrant in twenty years? My previous car (a 58-plate Vauxhall Agila) will probably show up at that type of event when I'm old and grey.
