No. Went for the first time today and really enjoyed it. Arrived at 10am, and left about 5pm. Had my wife and 2 year old in tow, so stayed far longer than I had expected/hoped.

A lot to see. Thought the live event could have been better, but overall I thought it was well worth going.

Porsche had a stand with just a 991 cup car and a GT4 and I don’t recall seeing another manufacturer.

I’m sure it was far better when it was the PistonHeads show

Went yesterday, wasn't impressed. Pretty much a re-cap on last years cars, hardly any reveals for this year. Not really worth it any more.

Arrived at 11:30 was bored and just waiting for the live show by 13:30

Did the live show have the usual blasting music which drowned out the cars?
Really pisses me off that, the commentator introduces a car and say how wonderful it sounds, it drives in and they crank the bloody volume up so you can’t hear it! Morons.

Pics of promo girls please.

Its the only barometer I can think of that tells you how well the show is going. wink

I last went in '08. And the girls were still tidy. Having seen pics from the last decade, the show is a sad pastiche of it's former glories

I go every 5 years or so as I forget how bad it is. Within a hour I get bored.

The engineering section isnt even open at the weekend to public which is a shame. Really poor show these days sadly.

Just returned from it, a group of 4 of us went.

I enjoyed it and we all found the live show entertaining.

My only complaint is the cost of food/drink within the NEC, but otherwise I found the day excellent.

Went yesterday after a few years away and enjoyed it but still not a patch on what it used to be. Sure it used to be one hall larger and there was quite a lot of empty space in places.

Did enjoy it though as a day out but only because we only paid half rice for the tickets.

I thought it was a decent show. NEC is poor for food n drink though. Bmw owners stand was poor imo some wrapped stuff that doesn’t work for me.Decent show though, live action arena

Every thread on this on the internet contains nothing much other than people moaning about it.
I go every 5 or so years on a Thursday and spend most of it in the Engineering Hall, it's good to to talk to people who you deal with in the trade and find out about new stuff.
If I was Kev with his Focus or Mike with his Porsche and not much else I probably wouldn't bother with it at all.
Maybe it's trying to be too much to too many different types of people, maybe Motorsport is slowly dying, who knows....
