The final Sunday Service of the year is always a momentous occasion; it's a chance to reflect on the year's events with new and familiar faces alike, blare out Christmas music and try to stay warm with a cup of tea and breakfast bap. This year will be no different. Well, apart from being at a totally new venue to us - this year's concluding Sunday Service being held at Thruxton Motorsport Centre, in partnership with our good friends over at Mission Motorsport.
Mission Motorsport will be running the skid pan for the morning, where you can take your car out for just a tenner (cash only). No matter what you own, be it front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive or all four, a skid pan is the perfect place to learn car control in slow motion. Want to provoke some lift-off oversteer in your hot hatch or flick out the back end of your MX-5? There's no better place. All of the money raised will go towards helping the MM team do what they do best.
The skid pan will be run in 30-minute sessions with eight cars per group. Put your name down on the Wiki here to reserve your spot but please only do this if you're 100 per cent sure you'll take part to ensure we can raise as much money as possible. You'll also be able to sign up on the day, with spaces being available on a first-come first-served basis. Ensure that you're at the skid pan at least 15-minutes before your allocated session for a briefing and to keep the groups moving on time.
Away from the skid pan, in the no skid zone, we have space for 500 cars with the event running from 0900-1200. The shiny new Thruxton Centre will be open and serving hot drinks and breakfast baps, so wrap up warm and come hungry! Thruxton is also where Mission Motorsport first launched as a charity back in 2012, so it's a fitting backdrop.

Just a quick note on the day (I'll include this in final joining instructions email, too);
- Mission Motorsport will be selling raffle tickets for a prize giving during the day, so bring some cash if you want to partake as there won't be any card machines!
- Mission Motorsport will also be selling some of our PistonHeads stickers, again cash only.
- Skid pan sessions will be paid for on the day, cash only - MM will be based in the Thruxton Centre so head over there to pay for it and to get involved in the raffle and sticker buying.
- Did I mention it was cash only...
