Anyone Going Caffeine & Machine this weekend?
Discussion
Obviously not then, judging by the responses.
We’ve stopped going altogether, as I think have a lot of local people, it’s just not got anything going for it.
I’m tempted to say it’s actually pretty boring, and to be asked to pay £5.00 every time just to park, is frankly loosing them a massive footfall audience.
The owners don’t care I suspect, they have made more money than even their stretch forcast ever predicted.

The C&M guys are now struggling IMO given the time of year as they’ve probably lost 30% of their parking which was on grass so on a busy weekend they’ll be turning customers away which will inevitably annoy those out for a Sunday drive - they’ve been victims of their own success which is why they’re having to charge £5 per car at weekends (although you do get a coffee included). I think the decision is to not visit at weekends

I've never been but I seen a lot of the hype. What is it, a coffee place with a car theme ?
Yep, correct although they serve food as well. They get a wide range of cars & bikes dropping in including a regular in his F40 & another in a Jag XJ220 (plus the off helicopter ). It's become a bit of a petrol head destination if you're looking for somewhere to drive to & it's got some nice roads around it being close to JLR & AMV so there's often some tasty cars calling in with C&M running some themed events throughout the warmet times of the year. The bar/restuarant is full of motor related memorabilia.Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
