Hi guys, years ago I used to organise PH car shows locally which mophed into the big Grasshopper shows which Umair took over from me..... 😳

I have done a few cool little shows around Oxted which lots of PH'ers have attended ( 200+ cars last time ) but sm thinking of doing something a bit different in September. I do targa rallying as a hobby, and as a training aid for my mates I have devised a little 90-minute route around the best local roads , but have drawn the route up on tulip maps like a proper road rally. I fancy doing a FREE Sunday morning drive for maybe 50-100 cars, just going off my map ending up for Bacon rolls, coffee etc. at the venue we use in Oxted. Not competitive in any way shape or form, just " follow this route, it is really nice then come back for an impromptu car show and breakfast" , you kniw the score.
Back in the day I dud a few Jaykabi Kent runs, off of Tom Tom routes, never a problem.

My question is what are the legslities of this? It is not a rally, race, no timing, no code boards, just a gentle scenic Sunday drive off of tulip maps. Do I need to inform anyone?

Red Devil is the man to input on this, but realistically I’d say 50 - 100 cars is a pretty significant number.

I’d be temtped to look initially at a limited number of about 15. It’s surprising how easy a 10 car pack gets broken up.

Hiya, yep I know but the idea is everyone has a map with the route on and goes out alone, just a "reccomended" route to breakfast!! :-)
