As my local show I've been to this for most of the last 15 years or so. It's always been expensive and reached a head about 5 years ago after which they dropped it to £5 for One Make Parking (as it should be; people who bring their cars *ARE* the show).

I just went to book a ticket for One Make Parking - £12 advance ticket eekeek - it is only £14 for foot entry!!

So that's it, I'm out. Greedy bds.

I guess nobody went? I was bored on the morning and I could hear engines so I decided to go anyway rolleyes £14 on the gate even taking my own car. TBH I was done inside 3 hours, it was quite nice to be leaving before the big bunfight at 3pm or so and I was home for lunch.

It does feel like a massie money-grabbing exercise...

I went with my children and my parents.
Agreed, the price of the tickets made me wince when paying for 6 adults and I’m thinking it doesn’t really offer much different to previous years.

On the plus side, I got some great photos of my boys with the Stig

We walked there from home as we had a quiet day.

Some years ago we used to put on a large club display (TVR) but it became increasingly difficult to deal with the organisers so we knocked it on the head! (Plus it got expensive & often clashed with Le Mans).

It was an ok event but £34.00 for two of us to spend a couple of hours mooching around was terrible value for money & as such I dont think we'll venture back.

It's my local too, I live literally across the road. My girlfriend and I went last year and had no idea how they could justify the entry cost. Didn't bother this year.

As a comparison, went to the Maldon show today, £8 on the day but cheaper in advance, it's a huge show on the Maldon promenade with all sorts going on. Much better money spent.
