Maharajas Tour 21/7/19 - South Oxfordshire

Hi everyone,

A few Pistonhead members marshal or take part in this event so I thought I’d post with this years details.

Once again Craven MC will be running the Maharajas Tour to finish as usual at the Stoke Row and Nuffield Motorsport Day adjacent to Delta Motorsports premises in Nuffield, Oxon.

This is gentle tour through the Oxfordshire countryside taking in 70 scenic miles finishing at the Motorsport day, which I can only describe as a village fete with cars.

This is not a commercially run event but a tour run by my motor club for the enjoyment of participants and to raise some funds for local charities.

Hi,

I've just seen this post and thought I'd reply as I'm based in South Oxfordshire (near Abingdon, to be exact). What kinds of cars are welcome on this tour? I run a large car club in the Oxfordshire area (Limitless - we are mostly a modified car club, but anything is welcome) and may be able to rustle up some interest if modified cars such as mine are welcome.

Hi and thanks for your request.

We have a very eclectic choice of cats running on the tour from a 1904 Chrysler to a 2017 BMW in the past.

We’re not car snobs, just car enthusiasts who want to put on an enjoyable tour.
