After a superb event with huge support from PH members in 2018 raising £2340 for charity the FoT is back for 2019. We have a second car park and a new website too http://farnhamfestivaloftransport.co.uk/

We are looking for enthusiasts to join us free of charge with their vehicles for another great car show on June 9th 2018 from 10am to 4pm. Come along and see one of the best collections of old and modern cars in the area, in a spectacular show organised by the Farnham Weyside Rotary Club in conjunction with the Farnham Herald.

Every year, over 150 of motor vehicles ranging from ancient veteran cars dating from the turn of the last century to vintage motorbikes, military vehicles and modern supercars gather in the Upper Hart Car Park, Farnham to provide what is, in effect, a parade of motoring through the ages. Hundreds of people come to see these beautiful machines and the best vehicle in every age category is awarded a prize.

This is not just a static show, however. Halfway through the event the cars go on a tour around the town and out into the country, giving them a chance to show off their paces. It is also an opportunity for more people to enjoy the sight of these beautiful vehicles.

There is much more variety for visitors to enjoy when they come to the festival. There are stalls selling food and drink, and others showing automobilia and other items. Plenty of music provides entertainment through the day, featuring the Rock Choir as well as other local groups.

This is a great day out for all the family, whether interested in cars or not. It is also an opportunity to support the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, the charity being supported by this enjoyable event. As we maxed out last year we have organised access to a second car park so we have 200 spaces in total.

absolutely please sign up on the site.

Nick did you used to have a red GT3? It's Jed Phil's mate with the blue Noble. We went to Wales a few years back!

It'd be good to catch up.

Hi Jed

Unfortunately I am a no-show as my Lotus Elan +2 is currently suffering some electrical gremlins and won't be ready for next weekend.

I haven't received any emails about the event, but did get some post last week, so will check that to see if I need to let anyone know of my non-attendance.

Sorry about that,

Rich
