Currently thinking about taking a trip down to Belgium for the Spa 24 hour race this July by myself. I've been to the track before and know there's a good amount of tree density around some areas of the track. What are the chances of stringing up a simple parachute-type (Eno) hammock for a few hours of shut-eye during the race? I doubt it'd be confiscated by bag security as it's hardly a "tent" and would easily fit in a small day pack. I'd prefer not having to book a campsite and spend more money than required if it's just myself. Just thought it might be a feasible idea. Any thoughts?

The list of prohibited items on the ticket sites specifies camping equipment and mentions tents, sleeping bags, etc.
Last time I was there was 2017 and the bag searches at the gate were pretty thorough, but they seemed more concerned with looking stuff that could be a security threats than anything else.
The were a few tents and tarps set up in the wooded section around Rivage. So unless they've become a lot stricter I would thought you'd probably be ok.

You can camp in the woods on the approach road to main parking it’s €35 for parking and camping I believe. Take a tent and stuff then.
