Silverstone Classic hotels?

Hi

I've got weekend tickets for the Silverstone Classic which I'm massively looking forward to. I've been the last couple of years and have loved it. This year she who must be obeyed wants to come along. Porsche Club has the 2 for 1 tickets, so that's all sorted. However... she's not going to be up for two days of watching old F1s with Ford DFVs blasting around the place. Yes, I agree - what could be better? but I imagine she'll be up for Saturday and want to spend Sunday sitting in a hotel spa while I go off to be deafened again.

so the question is - does anyone have spa hotel recommendations that are close to Silverstone? Monday, she's almost certainly going to insist on Bicester, which is my idea of Hell, but if i get to spend a couple of days at one of my favourite events i guess i can deal with it for a while.

you've probably left it too late.... good hotels nearby for this weekend sell out months in advance. Fawsley Hall is decent.
