I should since it is within walking distance of here... but I had never heard of it. Probably badly timed as it clashes with Classic and Sports Car Show in Bicester.

Had me wondering... must mean Seighford International Airport.

I expected it to be at the gliding club.
I didn't realise drive me.net was still going.

There's also a classic car show at Stafford castle 5th Aug.

Just as a follow-up... I did go along.
Turns out I knew the organiser. Last time I was on that runway we arrived by light aircraft - airstrip looks tiny from up there... that was 20 years ago though.

Not too bad an event, I think it will grow over coming years. No 'action' as such just static vehicle displays and some fair ground rides.
Glad I went.

Nice to see some 'ordinary' cars too. Brought back memories of cars owned by the family going back through the 70's.

I'm in Stafford, never even knew this was on.
Heads up for Chateau Impney in a weeks time, now that is a brilliant day out and you can pay on the door.

I only found out about the show from the OP here... it was however in the local free paper - but I tend not to read it.

Chateau Impney - yes, planning to be there. Probably on the Sunday.
