Ramparts de Angouleme 2014, anyone going

Just wondered if any one else was going to the Ramparts race this year.
There's 8 of us going from the Essex Snaketorque mob, all being well we should be taking a Z4 3.0Si , 4.0 TVR Chimaera, 2 Cobras an MGB roadster and possibly a TVR Wedge so if you see us broken down along the route some where please feel free to give us a toot and a wave. We're leaving for the tunnel early on the 17th and returning on the 24th.
We've already booked our evening stop over near Le Mans on the way there, and Argenton on the way back, you defo need the stop overs on this journey as it's a piggin long slap and stopping seems to make it a bit more of an event of the whole journey, we should get to have a quick blast along the Mulsanne straight on the first evening.
We've pushed the boat out this year and booked 8 seats in the cathedral grand stand, we're hoping we get numbered seats all together and a fairly good view, we usually do the cheapy entry and sit in the conker tree stands (does any one know if the numbered seats are policed so that no one else can pinch your seat while your away at dinner time ?).
I'll be taking the guys over to the village of the Martyrs while we're there as they've not been there yet, I'd recommend it to any one else going down that neck of the woods, it and isn't far from Angouleme and it's a real eye opener (look it up on the web)
Let's hope the weather hold good for us and it's not too hot or wet

I like the humorous attitude, pity more owners don't have it, I bet the whole group is waiting for the Z4 to have problems

I've always fancied going but it would require my numbers coming up now (to be able to afford a suitable car to go)
