The Bromley Pageant of Motoring will be returning for its 38th year. Over 1,000 cars are promised which isn't as many as in previous years (I can remember when it was over 3,000) which I think is partly down to the organisers becoming greedy and pushing prices up (which would be why they've lowered it to £5 exhibitor entry for this year) but also because of the weather, so fingers crossed the sun shines.

Special exhibitor categories - custom cars, pre-war cars, commercial and military vehicles and motorcycles - have diminished to almost nothing recently, and the tractor display has been non-existent for a few years, but with lower prices and (with any luck) a bit of sunshine, numbers will hopefully be on the increase this year.

All the details you need for booking are here: http://www.bromleypageant.co.uk/cars/4580861773

about 2-3 years ago I looked at booking a stall for this show to try and sell a few of my dvd's...it came in at something like £600 for the one day. I didn't book.

I will be with the TVR in single make parking. About time they sorted the ticket price out for exhibitors.

Allthough i wont be going (as i said in the other thread somehow theres 2 here now) i will miss it, its 5 minutes down the road, and i allways have had for the past at least 10 years had a 15 car stand for me and friends to come along, the first time i went about 25/26 years ago now, cant remember exactly, there were 25 cars attended ! i`ve been every year since, so i`m not going this year, its allmost become a tradition.

I enter my cars into lots of other shows, they dont charge, why should they ?after all we are the show, no cars, no show !
An example, the week after next, Sat 14th June, there`s the Bigging Hill festival of flight, where there`ll be around 100 plus classic cars, they are charging zero, and you get 2 people in for free sitting in that classic car !

I was looking at the website for the Biggin Hill event but I couldn't see anything about entering a car, and it's £15 to get in if you don't. It also says you can't buy tickets on the day. Does that apply to classic car exhibitors seeing as they apparently don't need tickets?

One more question: if you're showing do you have to be there at 12 when the gates open? That's because we're doing the Green Street Green car show on the same day.

Thanks.
