Wayne Hemmingways classic Car Boot Fair
Discussion
Went to this on Sunday, was a fantastic event right next to the London Eye. Imagine Goodwood Revival without the actual racing but with the cars, bikes & scooters, the fashions, the food & drink, the music. We also had 20degrees of weather and all for £4 which is certainly a lot cheaper than Goodwood! I'm sure he'll arrange another in the not too distant future so get along there, it's a great day out. Oh yes, I drove up from Surrey and parked the car for free round the back of Waterloo station on a single yellow line.

How did I not know about this! Is this a yearly thing?
Last one was in October 2013, I reckon they'll be another soon enough as it was so popular. There was a fabulous array of people there, scooter boys on skeleton racing lambrettas, rockabillys in Cadilacs, Mods on Vespas, Rockers on BSA's as well as loads of greats 60's cars including Alfas, Mk1 Lotus Cortinas, GT40's, Jensens, etc etc. great food stalls too! the music was being blasted out by a DJ on the top of the double decker and was mainly northern soul and American rock n roll. I could have stayed there all day!Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
