PHeads - didnt know what to expect - so expected little...

Even the drive there was better that I could of hoped for (2 500s, 1 460 SEAC, 2 Ultima GTRs).

And the event - wow! - a terrific bunch of cars & met shpub (Steve Heath) and he himself Mr Pie & Pint (Mr P Head).

Anyway - here's a vaguely chronologically ordered set of snaps - so please enjoy - (loading might be a bit slow - sitting on my free ISP for now.. no fancy thumbnails for large versions - tired & been to pub.. )

Good to meet you Ed. Good pictures too - as discussed, you have more of any eye for these things than me! My pics will be up in the morning...

Nice pics mate. But what's that Ferrari in the bottom picture called? Saw one a while back but I can't remember its name.

Ed - Good to meet you mate and a good convoy up there!

The Ferrari at the bottom is a P4. If it's a kit - it was also designed by Lee Noble of Ultima and Noble fame.

Cheers

Yeah I like those ones too. Just held the camera high & backwards & pressed the buttons. We all drove very slowly so it was easy. Something like that.

I wondered what you were doing Ed, waving your arm around out of the car at xxxmph!!!

Good day all round. Marvellous drive up, very interesting day at Gaydon and a good blast back, despite that silly man in the Astra!

Nice to meet thye 2 Ultima drivers too - thanks Guy for riding shotgun at the rear of the convoy. Nice to know you were using all that rear visibility to watch out for the local constabulary!!

great pics ed!

On the issue of the local police. If the speed cameras are to be made more obvious why not all police cars. Perhaps a bright yellow. At least then I can see themthrough my rear wing even if we doing only 59mph ( I had a gps in the car to make sure we did no more than 60 mph)

The red one? It's a (spelling permitting) DeTomaso Longchamps. Funnily enough it was my fave car when I was about 10, and this was the 1st time I've ever seen one. I could see what I was on about all those years ago too.

Ed told me the picture down the stairs was, and I quote, 'to prove we were up in the top of the building in the bar restricted to Supercar owners'. The truth's out now though....
