PH at P1 Supercar Sunday

Join us this Sunday for a celebration of supercars old and new

Take 200 of the finest supercars in the country. Line them up in the grounds of an imposing stately home of a weekend morn. Garnish with (hopefully) a spot of sunshine. Oh, and did we mention free parking for 200 PHers?

That's pretty much the make-up for the P1 club's Supercar Sunday, which will invade the De Vere Horsley Park hotel this Sunday (May 12). The main highlight, of course, will be the cars: with attendance from some of the UK's biggest-name prestige car manufacturers and dealers, the range promises to be vast and eclectic - a mouth-watering list that includes Aston Martins, Paganis, Bugattis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Maseratis, and a whole host more. New supercars and classics will be equally well-represented, too, so there should be something to tempt all tastes.

Theirs won't be the only gleaming metalwork on show, though; you'll be able to bring yours, too, as we've arranged 200 spaces for PHers and their cars, allowing you to show off your pride and joy, and lending something of a Sunday Service atmosphere to the event. All you need do is mention you're with PH on the gate and you'll be directed to our VIP parking area. However, do be aware that this is strictly first-come, first-served, so once our bit's full, you'll have to park with everyone else!

There's more, though: Wheeler Dealer and mad car builder Edd China will be bringing along his latest creation, and there'll also be a chance to take part in the raffle, with all proceeds going to P1's chosen charity, Dreams Come True. Prizes include a nine-course dinner at Michel Roux Jr's restaurant, Roux's; a high-performance driver training day with P1; dinner, bed and breakfast at Horsley Park; or even a photoshoot for your car with professional snapper Nick Williams.

There'll be plenty to see and get involved with, then - and all in the grounds of a fabulous Victorian mansion, built in 1828. What's not to like? Entry is free, so keep your diary free and pop along to the De Vere Horsley Park, between Guildford and Leatherhead in Surrey, between 9:30am and 1pm this Sunday!

Sunday Service at the Ginetta factory? I know I already suggested this via Twitter when you were posting pics from the last Sunday Service but never heard back. A few northern services would be great smile

I thought SCD charged for a membership which then allows you entry to the meets? Also they seem to be a tad more excluse/restrictive compared to PH.

That is why we need some things in the North, saves us having to mingle with you wink

More seriously, whilst I appreciate that PH is in the South, and there are probably a higher number of interesting cars there it would be nice to spread the Sunday Services around the country a little more. Plenty of venues around.

What you Northern lads moaning about? PH Have a Bloody great stand Opp norf every year at the Autosport show in Brumm. They also get involved in making us Southerners have to drive Norf of the Mother Thames to Silverstone to the Porsche Sunday Service events. Surely you don't expect us Southerners to have to drive Norf more than twice a year! Think of the Petrol we would have to use!

We have had it tough down here over the winter months and its been raining tongue out

Yes 20 May 2012biggrin

This event is not a PH Sunday service it is just PH joining P1 for the morning.
Good on PH for geting involved.
This event has been organised for some time and a list of names/cars attending has been on PH FLM&B section since the 15 April smile

Does it cost to get in? Normally go to Cliveden but this is closer so thought might make an interesting change.

We would like to say a huge thanks to Paul and his team at PH for supporting our event.

Here are some pictures from last years event.

The event is a free event and all proceeds raised on the day will be going to our chosen charity Dreams Come True.
