Has anyone out there bought one of the latest generation of Massers - GT / spyder? The reviews question it's involvement somewhat. Is this a little harsh? Also has it proved trouble free as yet?

i placed a deposit on a 3200GT asseto corsa, then found out it had been the press car - so i pulled out, after seeing it sideways in about half a dozen mags.

the 3200gt is pretty awful as a manual, but as an auto GT it is tremendous....best advice i was given was to buy one for low 30'ks

drive wise they are very rapid & smooth, handle well, very well made - but not quite as efficiently taut as a 911

that said a W Reg 370bhp twin turbo for 32k is very appealing, but you would need to keep it for 3 years or would get turned over on depreciation - certainly a new spider is not a good way to 'invest' 70+k!!!
