Wonderful to see so many in one place. It has helped me a little bit along the road of choosing what I want.

One diablo had an interesting paint job. Superficially purple, but changed to blue or even orange depending on the light. Is it an original colour?

I think the owner of that car is on here wink

My absolute favorite was this one, parked a long way away from everything else frown:

Is owned by Rod and Susie (13th) on here. The car was originally scuro blue. It's a chromaflare colour now, painted a couple of years ago.
Ros is thinking about changing it again soon. Can't wait to see it.

Ah, many thanks. Shame it isn't an original colour, but I guess that such paints weren't available 10 years ago. Still looks superb though.

"flip" paints have been around for ages, perhaps 20years, and the covers of Max Power magazine will be testament to this hehe

I think it's down to the first owners preference, one wouldn't want to be too ostentatious with a brand new Diablo...

There was a 6.0 for sale in grey too. Just looked a little too "sensible".

You'll find that it's very much in the nature of the owner of V12 OOH to not be too high profile, or (much) more likely just to turn up quite late! wink

Was the accompanying Anniversary you saw a very yellow car?

No, it was black. It was parked in reverse up the Brooklands banking opposite the Diablo. I don't think I took any pictures of it though...

I have to say V12 OOH is now one of my favorite Lamborghini's, it's such an agressive car!

Indeed - much like the owner... but in a good way, obviously! He's a great guy once you get to know him though it does take many, many years and many, many black Lamborghinis as well!

As well as a number of other (black and otherwise) Lamborghinis, he used to own a car that was once the UK press demo Countach 5000S back in the early '80's...

What a brilliant 'weight-loss assistant' that car was to drive on the hottest weekend of 1999! There were at least 4Kg of none-existent flab lost when I could afford to lose absolutely none (unlike now...); there were many lots of £'s spent on large amounts of close to full-fat petrol, the speedo was not actually operating so speed limits were mostly honoured in the breach and it was (and still is!) as black as a very black thing with a very black interior...

Vicky Bodily-Harm drove the car a few weeks later whilst Tough Noodle drove a Testarossa. I suspect she might have noticed XXVIII's skinned-knuckle blood on the handbrake lever at some point, maybe...

I wouldn't have changed that weekend's 'efforts' for the world and have noticed that the car is much like V12 OOH in many respects... both black and brilliant eh?

I walked round brooklands looking for the gt but couldnt find it, anyway, cheered myself up by flooring it down a duel carriagway on the way home, I had a ten pound not hanging out off the ash tray, both windows where open, and the tenner started to fly around the car. And then whipppp, of it went out of the window, so thats a fiver for flooring it and a tenner thrown in for good measure, about 35 miles later i decided to pull in to the services on the m3 and fill up, got out the car and found a picture of the queen with 10 writen on it fully stretched out in my air intake. Made me laugh anyway

Yes that's ours.

I love the colour and don't want to change it but it's Mr 13th's decision so.........
