Just started getting exicted about buying a 599 for £100k trade or a Scud for 110 ish then find out that redfive1 must be from a differnt planet to the one i`m on.With the F- Club cars trading at 110ish.... del miles cars dealers offering 60k behind list, Should be around 120/130 soon in line with the 599s now at 124k retail 100k trade with a list of 225k when new.

Last time Red5 crawled back under his rock, re-appeared with "spacemanxxx" moniker.
This is the twit that made disparaging remarks about another Scud owners spec, as it was not Cliche Red and then took forever to sell his dogscock red interior Scud (2 DX) with Nick C. Oh, the irony.
What's the bid on 997GT2's now?

The 5 GB Scuds were around 110k. If you have the funds you will have the brains to know how to find one. Get my point numpty.............
Sorry but thats not true. Graypaul bought these cars and are selling them for £149k-155k. If you can procure a deal for £110k for one of these cars I'd buy one for £120k from you instantly.redfive1 said:
You are right they brought all 5 Scuds I am informed for 550k......
May I politely ask who informed you of this? Was it GP themselves?Surely if they are buying them in at £110k, fitting brakes, clutches, tyres plus cosmetic prep then the cost to them would be around £125k. They want a margin on that so i'd expect they would want £135k at least for their £550k investment. On that basis they buying a £110k scud is a little far off is it not?
Ive been lookin for a scud and found no dealer prepared to sell for £40k or more off list. The most I found was £25k-30k i.e. around £150-155k.

What does this mean for 360 CS then, they still look expensive...
Interesting point that I am now wondering but like anything its supply and demand. There appears to be very few RHD CS available in fact there is less for sale now than there was 6 months ago. I planned to keep mine for 5 years but for reasons like overall perfomance, rarity, depreciation and the next edition of EVO Ill likely keep it for 10+.This is like the Audi RS4. I had a 2001 car and it was great in terms of cost. However, Audi limited the RHD cars to about 380? With the latest ones they have pumped out as many as they could sell. Hence now you have new RS4's selling for 25k and low mile RS4s from 2000 not selling for not much less than that.
How many scuds are there in RHD? Thats probably the best indicator of how CS and Scud prices will go.
The scuds that are currently in the trade with under 1k miles, are obviously speculator's cars who have had their fingers burnt with them, and are the one's suffering massive consistent depreciation, which I would guess is to create some cash-flow for the speculator. I would imagine these cars will find their price as soon as they are in the hands of actual 'owners' who bought them to actually own them, rather than as a business opportunity.
There is no way they are going to be £100k by the summer, as I have said above, once the speculator cars are gone the market will settle, and values will 'firm-up' considerably, whether that is at £120k or £150k, is still to be seen. As for the comment regarding the the 150 being brought into the UK this year; this clearly won't happen, because, as you have said Ferrari are fulfilling 'sold orders' only at the moment; so I would imagine the amount into the UK this year will be a significantly lower number than 150.
IMO you can't put the scud in the same bracket as a 599, it isn't a limited edition model, and is being built in considerably higher numbers; and it's hardly unsurprising that a front engine'd V12 Ferrari is suffering significant depreciation; hasn't this always been the case??
