Not sure if this posted elsewhere but CCH had five cars stolen in Norfolk last night, leading to cancellation of their event today.

I drove the red Huracan as a customer last year, it was absolutely epic.

One imagines something like this is a planned job by professional thieves. Be interested to know what the security arrangements are for something like this.

This storey has been doing the rounds on radio norfolk today.

At the start on the interview the owner says its stolen to order yet by the end of the piece its stolen by "kids" as they have posted videos online driving through London?

The article in the Sun (yes I know) says the Lambo has been found and they seem to know the others are " believed to be in Barking or the Isle of Dogs."

Their security must have been pretty bad?

All sounds very strange.

I was working at the event as one of the instructors, we arrived back at the venue on the Sat morning after a full day of customers on the previous day. The mechanics trailer had been broken into and the key cabinet forced open and keys for all the cars, approx 30, taken. The thieves had also removed the RaceKeeper cameras from each of the vehicles and took 5 cars from the venue. They accessed the site via a gate on the far side of the airfield away from the motorhomes where some staff were sleeping. My personal theory was locals who broke in to the trailer expecting to steal the mechanics tools and then decided to get into the key cabinet and located the vehicle keys. They were obviously not professional car thieves as they took probably the most striking car, the AMG GT with its bright yellow and black livery, and left behind the McLaren and two Ferraris. They were then stupid enough to video themselves, including showing their faces, driving the Huracan and then posted the video on social media. One vehicle has so far been recovered and is currently with the police undergoing forensic examination.

Thanks for the update with actual information.

Hopefully this will end with all five cars back with you undamaged, and all five criminals off the streets.

Thanks for the explanation, sounds like it was just opportunistic and hopefully you'll get them back.

However, are you really telling us your employer left the keys to a bunch of supercars in a box in a trailer parked next to them?
