Ferrari insurance in London
Discussion
Can anyone recommend any good insurance brokers or companies who can ensure a Ferrari 488 in zone 1 Central London.
I have spoken to a couple but both have mentioned there has been a recent spate of Ferrari thefts in London this year, which was really premiums high and I was hoping someone may have recommendations for a good company or broker.
Much appreciated,
Thanks

I just got a quote of £935 from Admiral for a street parked F575M in Maida Vale. I guess not being keyless helps keep it reasonable.
This seems to be the deciding factor on insurability. My FF parked in Knightsbridge has survived a spate of very local Ferrari and Range Rover thefts. All of the Ferraris I have heard of being stolen around me were keyless go cars.Until the manufacturers fix the security issue I won't be parking a keyless go vehicle in London.
I’ve been with Chubb masterpiece for quite a while. Also live near Maida Vale. My cars are not keyless but they hiked the premium for this year on that excuse and they said they would not cover them in case of vandalism at night or if someone tried to steal them and damaged them overnight they would not pay. I moved to Hagerty that was cheaper and had no silly clauses. I am surprised at Chubb as they have always been very good in the past 20 or so years I’ve insured my cars with them.
It's a real problem. A pista and portofino were stolen from my old underground. I have moved out of London fully now and had forgotten to update until I got the premium through. It had more than doubled even though mine is too old for keyless. I updated my address and the requote with lockton was back to normal for this year thankfully.
We’re having a real nightmare here also. I was looking at 812’s but the last quote I got was £19,000..
Chubb don’t seem to want to renew the policy at the renewal date due to the area and excess car theft. No Ferrari atm but a Range Rover, SLS and 997 turbo and a few M cars on the policy.
So looking for a policy, based in East London, everything except the Range Rover, is parked in one of our warehouses, 24 hour security etc. I’ve not been getting anything back from most brokers….
Has anyone got any recommendations?

I have used Nowell & Richards for years for my “ fleet “ and they usually seem able to come up with a fairly sensible price from one of their panel. I use these guys as well, coming up for renewal soon so it will be interesting to see how much the premium has increased by.B3NJY said:

My “ rate “ ( on TIV ) actually reduced a little bit in May last year but not wanting to change companies ( previously ZPC ) helped my argument at the time but yes will indeed be interesting this year. Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
