Stunning Singer at DK…
Discussion
In my poverty stricken, never afford it opinion I think this is the best one I’ve seen, very jealous of whoever takes it…

I think it’s the detail on this that won me, the steering wheel and the gear lever that match outside and interior so well.
I’m sure many will dislike but opinions are like aholes, everyone’s got one and everyone uses them daily….

The options list on that
Not a million miles away from how I'd spec a 911 regarding colours but they really look badly proportioned to me these days. I think the originals can just about get away with it, maybe with some less wheel " and a lot less tyre stretch but unfortunately I think the look is getting dated.
I can honestly say I think in ten years plus these will look like the B+B Porsches and Koenig Ferrari's that were "cool" in the 1980s.

Like the colours a lot but it is a bit much in some respects - looks a bit cartoonish and the green roll cage / some of the details are a bit too coordinated for me if that makes sense
Would obviously still love to own it but prefer the original design / classic or whatever they call it now
Still one of my regrets that I did not order one in 2015 when they were still semi affordable and the waiting list was not years and years

It is a little a standard Singer with all the DLS bits underneath in that colour combo would be amazing.
It’s not a “Singer”…..from their websiteThe product of Singer’s painstaking effort is a Porsche 911 restored and reimagined by Singer. Out of respect for Porsche, and to respect Porsche’s trademark rights, this incredible machine should never under any circumstances be referred to or described as a “Singer,” “Singer 911,” “Singer Porsche 911” or a “Porsche Singer 911,” or in any other manner that suggests that it is anything but a Porsche 911 that has been restored and reimagined by Singer.
Clearly Porsche are taking a more authoritarian view because that’s a definite change of tone…….
Think it all went wrong when they released that Dakar “one off” that Tuthill were involved with which got a massive red card from Porsche.
I really really love the interior, for me one of the best ever seen, big want.
So I just went back again to the website and saw a pricelist, hey interior, saw interior and a 17k price, hm I thought, 17k I could order such somewhere in the future if I buy a Porsche 911 again...
then I read more, huh, that was also about the interior... further, hm also, further ... it was all about the interior, then such price is euh, a lot around 100k or so (not really counted).
here> my short day dream is broken

I've always found it strange that Ruf and Singer can operate with such ease. Nice that they can though I love that they express their own vision for a 911. I'd love a Ruf RT 12 R, CTR Anniversary or DLS turbo study
Ruf were (along with Alpina) the manufacturer in German law, at least in the eyes of the TUV. If you bought a Ruf direct from the factory as a new car it would have Ruf, not Porsche, as the manufacturer on the VIN plate. I believe this was helped by Germany having reasonably short periods of design copyright, certainly compared to Italy. It was one of the 90s racing games that only had Ruf based 911s in it, when the publisher couldn’t do a deal with Porsche. Singer is different in that they are modifying already registered cars.
